Dr. David J. Liss is a board certified foot ankle specialist and surgeon. His undergraduate studies were at the University of Florida where he graduated with Cum Laude honors for his Bachelor of Sports Sciences and Physiology. He completed four years at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
Dr. Liss completed his three year foot and ankle surgical residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Now practicing in Los Angeles, Dr. Liss specializes in treating everything from common foot ailments, such as toenail and skin disorders, warts, neuromas, bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, and heel pain, to more complex injuries, fractures, and chronically painful conditions. In addition, he has expertise in management of difficult to heal diabetic and non-diabetic wounds. Dr. Liss takes great pride in preventative medicine and in addressing an ailment’s root cause, not just treating the symptoms. This has led to a strong background in foot and gait analysis, biomechanics, and fabrication of custom molded orthotic shoe inserts.
Dr. Liss is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and American Board of Wound Management. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association, and maintains active memberships of the APMA and CPMA. She completed her podiatric surgical training at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a level-one trauma center. She currently holds hospital privileges at both Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA and St. Johns Medical Center in Santa Monica, CA.
Dr. Vincenti Liss was raised in Sherman Oaks, CA in an Argentinean household and is fluent in Spanish. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Claremont McKenna College, a rigorous liberal arts college. She then obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL which is affiliated with Rosalind Franklin University.
Dr. Vincenti Lissis known for her caring bedside manner. She takes the time to listen to her patient’s needs and help in any way she can. She takes the time to explain and educate her patients on the cause, treatment, and prevention of their condition. He attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and completed his education at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and Buena Park Community Hospital. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
He has held several prestigious positions including assistant professor of surgery at LAC USC medical center where he trained podiatric surgical residents, and he is past president of the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Society. He currently serves as a Medical Consultant for the Board of Podiatric Medicine, and remains active in his state and local medical associations.
His podiatric interests include the diabetic foot, wound care, podiatric sports medicine, heel pain, and surgical care of the arthritic and non-arthritic bunion. His recreational pursuits include skiing, cycling, hiking, jogging and swimming.
